TKAMB Chapter Five

Important things this chapter, Scouts relationship with Jem and Dill, shows how they are all growing up. We learn about atticus and his relationship with his children. We learn that he can be quite hard on his children when they are out of line but is quite immersed in his job. We also learn about Jem and his wanting to be a lawyer when he’s older. “Atticus Finch is the same in his house as he is in public”

This teaches us about Atticus and him at work and at home.
